“Brewed with handmade oat clusters, this full bodied ale is packed with flavors of toasted oats, caramel, molasses, vanilla, and a hint of baking spice.”
Picked this up while we were in Nashville last month, and the first one tasted freakishly like a Little Debbie Oatmeal Creme Pie; but I drank that first one in Nashville and the other three at home, and none of the latter tasted quite as good as the first. With that one, I got the exact taste of the “creme” in the middle of one of the Little Debbie treats, right up front, and then the baking spice and oatmeal on the back end. With the subsequent three, the flavors seemed more homogenized—not bad at all, but not the same nostalgic gut punch as the first one. Maybe it has something to do with the Nashville air.
