The Scarlet Lane Gastropub has been operating as The Slaughtered Lamb this month, and this is the namesake brew for their pop-up homage to An American Werewolf in London. It’s got a sweet-ish component up front, but the flavors get lost in the bitter finish and the high alcohol (11%); I don’t know that I would have guessed toffee if the menu had not pointed me there. Not bad for sippin’, but not a great accompaniment for a meal.
